So, what is it that not only draws hundreds of millions of people to Michael Jackson…but, keeps them?  What defines the cosmic sustaining power?  How is it possible that he created a collective energy spanning decades?  To be sure, there are many entertainers who have succeeded with longevity, many with vitality, timelessness, underscoring humanity.  Michael Jackson did more.  In a world where violence is the rule, the ease with which our sensibilities numb, happens with regularity.  There is only so much we can take in.  Empathy turns to frustration, and then to hopelessness.  We simply turn off.  Michael Jackson was born without an OFF button.  His connections were from a higher power, his chosen path a lifelong mission.  He was here to bring love to the world through music.  His ability to share unconditional love, his openness, sensitivity and vulnerability unified and gave purpose.  Through performance, Michael soothed, embracing every facet of the human condition.  It is impossible to remain neutral to Michael’s performances…be they recorded, filmed or live.  The range of emotions spans all that human beings face in life. Michael offered audiences theatre and masterful storytelling.  His vocals reach to the very core because his range of sound and rhythms, his ability to use his voice as an orchestral instrument, all meet us at the cellular level.  Emotions are stirred:  sexual passion, empathy, loneliness, abandonment, vulnerability, social  activism, justice, humanity, love…Michael presented them all and more.  He had so many gifts at his disposal…a voice that could go from angelic to seductive to gritty to sublime, the most beautiful background vocal choral music in the pop canon, an inner rhythm that revealed itself in sound and movement, storytelling that touched the heart, a dancer in his soul with a dancer’s body as canvas…singer, songwriter, composer, dancer, performer, director, producer, creator, musician, arranger.  His storytelling brought joy, revealed needs, embraced color and culture, created visions for healing, inspired all to collectively reach for a better world.  Believing in the POWER OF THE PEOPLE, Michael loved completely.  His humility, lack of ego, generosity, charity, kindness, truthfulness, faith, and bravery showed a world how to live.  “Even after the world accused him of molesting a child, something he said he would ‘rather slit his wrists’ than do, he did not do what a guilty person would do:  run with his tail between his legs, hide.  He went right back into the world to fight his fight of truth, love, and service.  He continued to build Neverland, where he would bring sick kids with terminal cancer and other debilitating illnesses through and give them a pure experience of the inner child: pure creative expression, love, acceptance, and unabated joy.”  (MICHAEL JACKSON MAN BEHIND THE MIRROR  by Raamayan Ananda)

Michael offered new realms of possibilities…a solidarity of spirit.  He talked the talk and he WALKED the talk.  In every sense of the word, HE WAS GENIUNE…AN AUTHENTIC MAN!

Michael created masterpieces for the ear and eye.  He slipped into our psyche and stirred harmony and emotions.  We feel and we think when in his company.  He shared his soul and there is a permanency in that connection.  We have found sincerity and truth, inspiration and hope.  Deep inside every facet of Michael’s life there is authenticity.  He loved us before we discovered our love for him.  There is a divinity in the source of his genius which grows wider and stronger with each day.  IT’S ALL ABOUT LOVE AND THAT LOVE IS GENUINE.  IT IS REAL.

Thank you, Michael, for giving everything you had to give…our actions will show our gratitude.
