What do I do on windless days when faith is not found, when my weary mind feels too tired to scream out and belief in me is spare?  J.R.R. Tolkien said, “Not all who wander are lost.”  Often, I resist that truth, encircled by doubt.  Joseph Vogel describes Michael’s “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin” as a diverse array of sounds, idiosyncratic lyrics…in suggestive fragments, Michael sings of the madness and hysteria of modern life, ignored illness, mental breakdowns, unplanned pregnancies causing unfed babies, tongues like razors and being eaten off of like a buffet or vegetable.”  During performance, the song and Michael whipped audiences into a frenzy…”damn near orgasmic.”  Joseph Vogel

Social justice cries to the world…powerful still today.  Michael released his fears for the world through his music, believing it would inspire the changes needed for healing.  Paradoxically, while his performances ignited passionate fires, a sense of peaceful grace and sanctuary surrounded his private time…unparalleled drama electrified audiences, while Michael’s serene aura defined Hans Margolius’ words:  “Only in quiet waters do things mirror themselves undistorted. Only in a quiet mind is adequate perception of the world.” 

I often say that when I am in need of inspiration, Michael is the answer.  His authentic and loving heart, along with his genius and dedication, ALWAYS elevate the weariness I may be feeling, providing me with layers of thought, offering answers.  “YOU DON’T GET HARMONY WHEN EVERYONE SINGS THE SAME NOTE.”  Doug Floyd  A master of harmonies, Michael has inspired many to sing along.  I have been gifted the talent of loving spirits who travel a path uniquely their own in PAYING MICHAEL FORWARD.

Today, as I navigate calm waters, enjoying the quiet between notes in my song, and,  awaiting wind for my sails, I look for spiritual direction from author Heaven Leigh and her new book,  ANGEL MICHAEL ORACLES.  I agree with Yoland Martin’s Foreward to the book when she says, “This book is yet another testament to how deeply his (Michael’s) impact has been and will forever be felt.  Heaven Leigh is a beautiful and talented soul who has gotten her assignment.  She’s the author of some of the most beautifully written and soul-inspiring books I have ever had the pleasure of reading.  Heaven used her gifts to relay some of Michael’s most powerful messages to the world.”

In need of a spiritual message, I reread Heaven’s book today.  Each read offers me more insight and a greater affection for both the words and the author.  It is a book worthy of study.  Henry David Thoreau said, “The world is but a canvas to the imagination.”  The canvas to my imagination expanded when I read Heaven’s words: “Angel Michael Oracles are born from a marriage of minds.  From spirit to spirit we all communicate.  When one comes to another with urgent messages, it becomes a sacred trust to write out the impassioned words and share them.”

As you know, I strongly believe when you want to learn about Michael Jackson…YOU ASK HIM.

“You are each ‘letting me live again’ in your own wonderful ways by writing out what you hear from me-living your dreams as I taught you to do-and putting MORE love into your lives.  Some of you must no doubt be wondering why you feel an ache to be near me now, why this phenomenon occurred after my body ceased to cling to spirit.  The best way I can explain is to let you know that when the spirit leaves there is a release of energy-pure loving energy that falls gently into every other spirit that is open to receive.”

ANGEL MICHAEL ORACLES is overflowing  with poetry and prose, crossing the divide between human and spirit, bringing Michael’s message: LOVE LIVES FOREVER.  Michael lives inside its pages, punctuating each with message and love…all teachable moments.  It is an emotional journey, one that leaves the reader both inspired and in awe.

My research has provided me with enough books to begin to think about calling it a MICHAEL JACKSON LIBRARY…each author’s perception emerging from the pages.  When reading Heaven’s Leigh’s works:  “Feel yourself being quietly drawn by the deeper pull of what you truly love.”  Rumi    Heaven Leigh’s love and connection to Michael Jackson is pure and unconditional and the deeper pull comes right off  the page to me.
